SunHawk Academy provides a residential treatment program for adolescents, ages 13 through 17, in a boarding school environment. We work with troubled teens who are facing emotional problems, family issues, adolescent substance abuse, and academic difficulties. Our unique structure combines a residential treatment center, individual and group therapy, accredited academics, and family development workshops.

Our dedication to helping troubled youth was instilled by SunHawk Academy’s founders – parents of teens, who saw the need for a new type of program. Their concept combined the benefits of strong academics with the longer-term care and therapy available through an adolescent residential treatment center. They believed in a comprehensive program, which not only treated the student, but also offered family involvement and parental support.

As part of daily academy life and a structured level system, students can earn off-campus privileges. Numerous activities, including intramural sports, martial arts, snowboarding, movies, bowling, and hiking, are offered to provide an environment that encourages our students to regain their joy in life.

We are confident that you will find SunHawk Academy to be the answer you have been searching for if you have teenagers struggling with academics or behavior. Time is precious. Please do not delay in getting your teen the help he or she needs. If you are in need of immediate assistance, please contact us at (800)214-3878.
